I feel for anyone has to go through it who isn't given the strength to deal with it, both at the time and afterwards. I went strangely calm both times and kept talking, like they do in films because they say people can hear for a while afterwards. The first person was my bachelor uncle who lived with us and was like another dad; the second person was my mum. You’re welcome; I’m touched you commented on this.
