No, I haven’t lost the plot and forgotten what time of year it is!
Please bear with me. My kids go back to school in a few days, so very soon I’ll be finding my blogging balance and passion again, and with it, torrents (or maybe just puddly patches) of purple prose, poetry and passion.
In the meantime, I have a new monthly column called The Kitchen Table Space over at a wonderful magazine/blog/spa-retreat called The Calm Space.
Over the next few days, I’d be grateful if you could pop over and check out my current piece called My Kitchen Table.
There’s a range of talented writers hosting ’spaces’ there, and I’m indebted to Karen, the editor, for giving me this chance to write for some new folk about the small things that matter most, the details that fill our daily lives with purpose, passion and meaning.

* The photo above is my table at Christmas; the illustration over in the column had to be inserted because I messed up and forgot to send the jpeg in time.
